Melinda Green, RA, AIA
Principal Architect
Melinda joined SMSA in 2014 as an Architectural Intern and has since been a crucial part of its eminent growth. Her passion for the culture of the Architectural Profession has been profoundly illustrated in her successful path towards licensure, as well as community engagement and volunteerism.
Ms. Green received a dual degree, M. Arch & BS Architecture from Roger Williams University with a minor in Visual Arts and a concentration in Architectural History. Prior to working for SMSA, she had the opportunity to work on Healthcare, Laboratory, Industrial Facility Design & Renovation in Albany and Boston locations. She focuses on understanding the functionality of the program for the client, and developing thorough and comprehensive design documents for building construction. Her roles within the firm extend from architectural design & client management to firm administration and marketing.
Melinda is actively involved in giving back to her community & creating opportunity. When not engaging and collaborating with clients on their designs, you can find her catching a spin class, or spending time at the farm or lake with her family!
