Grand Re-Opening 2016 | Renovated Guest Rooms & Egress
Architect: SMSA Architectural Services Contractor: Cedarcrest Construction LLC
Topographic Survey: Blanchard Land Surveying
Originally built in 1892, the Irondequoit Inn serves as a rustic retreat of peace and quiet nestled in the Adirondack Park. The Client's first and foremost concern was to create a phasing plan that allowed them to keep the main lodge open for the summer season, as well as maintain a budget to support the various phases of the project.
Included in Phase I was the renovation of the guest rooms, improving the egress for fire protection, and updating energy efficiency, including wall construction & windows. The final constructed design demonstrated high quality interpretation of the drawings to built design by the contractor, while maintaining the charming rustic Adirondack character the Inn reflected from its original inception.
