SMSA is dedicated to giving back to our community. We have proudly been involved with Mentor Monday's at Herkimer BOCES VP-TECH program, as well as presenting at various career days. Our team enjoys being able to educate today's youth though mentorship, as well as promoting the profession of Architecture. Our Project Architect, Melinda Green, RA, has been a strong advocate of this education through her Career Day presentations at various schools including Central Valley Academy & Poland Central School District.
Attentive Investment to the Profession of Architecture
The Profession of Architecture is on-going investment to continuous self-education and community engagement. At SMSA, we promote involvement in professional organizations and affiliations to better the culture of our profession. Our team members have been proactively involved with the American Institute of Architects, creating learning and education opportunities through lunch & learns, panel discussions, and initiating committee programs.
