S. Michael Steiger, RA, AIA
Founding Principal
As a Registered Architect & former General Contractor, Michael has acquired extensive design and construction experience. He desires to utilize this experience toward improvement of project delivery systems. Years of experience in projects of all types has honed Michael's knowledge of the NYSED regulations, the NYS Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code, and the Accessibility Guidelines. He excels in the ability to deal with large group teams and believes stringent schedules & diligent work ethic are keys to his many successful projects.
Mr. Steiger, a highly respected Architect in the Central NY region, has worked with a diverse range of clients. As principal of the firm since 1998, he’s acquired and maintained long term relationships with clients, as well as contractors and consultants. Prior to receiving his Architectural License he was educated in Landscape Architecture at Cornell University, in which he then pursued a career as a general contractor for 15 years. Michael then worked for an Architectural firm for 13 years prior opening his own design practice.
​Throughout his 40+ years of practice, he has consistently continued to deliver an outstanding level of commitment to each and every project. As a part of his professional career, he’s also had the privilege to be attentively involved with the local Sauquoit Valley community offering his expertise in local zoning and development of the rural farm community. Outside the office Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
